HEALTH AND SAFETY DURING COVID-19
The health and safety of our students and employees is of primary importance, and a responsibility that we all share. Our ability to conduct in-person learning rests on our collective commitment to follow practical guidelines regarding social distancing.
Please stay home if sick or if you have been exposed:If students or caregivers have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, sore throat, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, extreme fatigue, body aches, shortness of breath, rash or lost sense of taste or smell, please consult your medical professional immediately and stay home.
If a student, parent, or anyone in your home has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or has been notified by the CT Department of Health that they were in contact with an individual infected with COVID-19, you must notify Dance Adventure, Inc at once so we can contact others, and please stay home.

GENERAL GUIDELINES:
Face Masks must be worn by all students, parents, caregivers and staff at all times and PRIOR to entering the building. If you choose to wear a face shield, you must also wear a mask.
Hand sanitizing is required before and after class. Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the reception area as well as touchless soap and touchless paper towel dispensers in the bathrooms.
Enhanced cleaning protocols have been implemented throughout the studio and reception areas. HVAC units have been serviced and updated with the latest Air Scrubber by Aerus with their ActivePURE technology. Surface treating technologies such as electrostatic equipment with CDC approved disinfectants will be utilized to sanitize our studios, including the barres and high touch surfaces, before and after every class. Each evening the studio will be thoroughly cleaned.

SOCIAL DISTANCING:
Class Schedule: Classes have been staggered so that cleaning and disinfecting can take place between classes, and to minimize physical interaction.
PLEASE ENTER IN THE BACK DOOR (off the parking lot).
PLEASE EXIT USING THE FRONT DOOR (towards Sherwood Place).
Class Sizes are reduced to 2/3rds of previous class size. During class, social distancing will be required. Studio floors will be clearly marked, and students will keep 6 feet apart from fellow students.
Teachers will give verbal corrections and guidance, no hands-on corrections.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE (ALL AGE GROUPS):
Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes prior to your class time.
A touchless temperature scan will be given to each person as they enter the building.
SHOES: Everyone will have to remove their shoes (and store on the shoe rack) or wear our provided shoe coverings (disposable).
WASH YOUR HANDS: All students must wash their hands with soap and water before class.

For Dance Adventure Students (Ages 3 through Pre-K):
Students need to arrive already dressed for class.
Please have your child use the bathroom before class. Teachers will not be free to help your child given social distancing guidelines.
ONE Parent/Caregiver ONLY will chaperone the student (no siblings) and can either drop-off their student or wait in the reception area. No adults are allowed in the dance classroom.

For Dance Center of Greenwich Students (K-12):
Students need to arrive already dressed for class.
ONE Parent/Caregiver ONLY will drop off and pick up their students but will not be able to wait in the reception area during the class. Please then take your child’s belongings and leave the building once your student is dropped off.
WHEN YOU DEPART (ALL AGE GROUPS):
Be prepared to pick up your child promptly 5 minutes before the end of your child’s class. Please Exit through the front doors.

IMPORTANCE OF BEING ON TIME:
Due to these additional details, please be on time when arriving so we can begin class on time.
Please pick up your students on time, so we can keep the number of people in our building to a minimum for yours and their safety.
