Modern Dance is a lyrical and expressive style which allows for freedom of the individuals creativity and emotions. 

Dancers work on the use of balance, flexibility, and control and respond to the lyrics and feeling of the music.  

Modern/contemporary classes focus on popular techniques in modern dances, developing the student's core strength, technique and skills with choreography.

These advanced students learn choreography and participate in our staged recital.
