Designed for ages 6–8, this tap class is intended for dancers who have mastered the fundamentals of tap as well as talented new students with equivalent experience. Students refine technique while developing coordination, timing, rhythm, musicality, and confidence. As dancers progress, they discover the excitement of creating music with their feet while developing greater precision, performance quality, and individual style. More challenging steps, combinations, and choreography encourage creativity and expressive performance. Throughout the year, dancers prepare for the excitement of performing in our annual Spring Recital. Tap shoes are required.
