Designed for ages 9–11, this ballet class develops strong classical technique with an increased emphasis on proper body alignment, ballet vocabulary, musicality, and artistry. Students build strength, flexibility, coordination, and control while refining their skills through more focused work at the barre, center, and across the floor. Greater attention to detail helps dancers refine both their technique and artistic expression while building confidence through accomplishment. As technique progresses, dancers are introduced to more challenging combinations and choreography while developing confidence, performance quality, and stage presence.
