Students in this beginner level class develop a love of ballet and begin to understand how satisfying it is to learn.

Practicing the special way ballet steps, (based on ordinary movements such as bending, stretching, sliding, jumping and turning) are performed is exciting and challenging.  

Students start to recognize the circles, lines and balance in their moves that are unique to ballet dancers.  

They learn that they may not be able to do every new step at first, but with practice, ballet becomes easier and more enjoyable with each class. 

Students look forward to learning choreography and performing in our annual Spring Recital.
