Designed for ages 6–7, this beginner ballet class develops a love of dance while building focus, confidence, and a sense of accomplishment. Students learn fundamental ballet steps and technique based on natural movements such as bending, stretching, sliding, jumping, and turning. Through practice, dancers begin to understand alignment, balance, and the shapes and patterns that are unique to ballet. As skills develop, students gain confidence, enjoy the process of learning, and look forward to choreography and performing in our annual Spring Recital.
