Designed for teen dancers, this advanced tap class is intended for experienced dancers as well as talented students with equivalent tap training. Students refine technique while developing greater precision, speed, clarity, timing, musicality, and rhythmic accuracy through intricate footwork, advanced combinations, and challenging choreography. As dancers master the artistry of tap, they learn to use rhythm and movement as both musical and expressive performance, developing the versatility and confidence of accomplished tap dancers. With an emphasis on performance quality, confidence, and individual style, students strengthen their artistry as they prepare for the excitement of performing in our annual Spring Recital. Tap shoes are required.
