Designed for ages 12–13, this intermediate tap class is intended for experienced dancers as well as talented students with equivalent tap training. Students refine technique while developing greater precision, timing, clarity, coordination, musicality, and rhythmic accuracy through more challenging footwork, combinations, and choreography. As dancers master increasingly intricate rhythms, they learn to use tap as both dance and musical expression while strengthening their artistry and performance quality. With an emphasis on confidence and individual style, students prepare for advanced-level training and the excitement of performing in our annual Spring Recital. Tap shoes are required.
