Designed for dancers ages 9 and up, this Modern/Contemporary class explores expressive movement while building strength, flexibility, technique, and artistry. Students develop coordination, body awareness, musicality, and creative expression through dynamic movement, floor work, improvisation, and contemporary choreography. In a supportive and inspiring environment, dancers refine their performance quality, confidence, and individual style while discovering the artistry and emotion that define modern and contemporary dance. Throughout the year, students prepare for the excitement of performing in our annual Spring Recital.
