Designed for ages 5–6, this beginning tap class introduces dancers to the rhythm and sound of tap while building coordination, timing, musicality, and basic technique. Students learn fundamental tap steps, rhythms, and simple combinations as they develop confidence and body awareness in a fun and supportive environment. Each class encourages creativity, self-expression, and an appreciation for the unique style and energy of tap dance as students discover the excitement of creating music with their feet. Throughout the year, dancers prepare for the excitement of performing in our annual Spring Recital. Tap shoes are required.
